Rajinikanth is celebrating his 75th birthday, with fans and well-wishers from around the globe joining in the festivities, especially as his film Padayappa re-releases in theatres today. Amid the celebrations, an old post by Dharmendra featuring a scene from their 1984 film Insaaf Kaun Karega has resurfaced.
The Clip
In the video, Dharmendra and Rajinikanth’s characters engage in a heated exchange, which leads to a playful fight scene, ending with the two actors hugging. In the clip, Rajinikanth says, "Dekh. Mujhe Kung Fu, Karate sab aata hai. Tumko kya aata hai?" to which Dharmendra humorously responds, "Aloo parathe aate hain."
Sharing the clip earlier, Dharmendra wrote, "Rajini, a darling friend, a great actor… A funny scene with him… Hope you will enjoy it." He also reminisced, "Lovely clip, full of fun… Kakoli, those were beautiful days… and some of my comedy scenes… I used to write myself. I hope they will understand my mixture of Hindi, Punjabi…"
Dharmendra and Rajinikanth had also collaborated in Farishtay (1991).
