Thakurgaon, Sept 26 (UNB) – A case was filed with a court here on Thursday against BNP Vice-chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu for threatening to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Sadar upazila unit Awami League President and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Arunangshu Dutta Tito filed the case with the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Marzia Khatun.
According to the case statement, Dudu in a talk-show at a private television channel on September 16 said the Prime Minister will leave the way her father left, apparently referring to the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Earlier, cases were filed against Dudu in Chattogram, Rangpur and Khulna on the same charge.
