Dhaka, Oct 11 (UNB) - Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Friday warned the BNP against attempts to create disorder in its demonstration programmes from Saturday. 

He sounded the warning at a human chain in front of Jatiya Press Club, a PID handout said. Bangladesh Swadhinata Parishad organised the programme.

Mahmud, also the Awami League Publicity Secretary, said: “The people will resist them (the BNP) if they resort to indiscipline in the pretext of movement.”

About Buet student Abrar Fahad’s killing, the Minister said any attempt to manipulate the incident will be thwarted. 

He urged the leaders and workers of Awami League to remain alert so that no-one can create disturbance.
