Leftists in AL-led alliance on state visit to China


The top leftist leaders of the 14-party (Workers and Communist parties), left for Kunming, China on Monday.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haque Inu, Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, Bangladesher Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua, Fazle Hossain Badshah and Lutfun Nessa Khan are among the delegation.

The delegation left for China on Monday afternoon by a plane of the China Southern Airlines. Chinese embassy officials were present at the airport to see off the leaders.

JSD central committee Organising Secretary Abdul Alam Swapan and Kushtia district committee Vice President Ahmed Ali accompanied Hasanul Haque Inu to China.

The Chinese ambassador hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting leaders on Sunday evening.
