Two newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) – Mahmudul Haque Rubel from Sherpur-3 and Rezaul Karim Badsha from Bogura-6 – were sworn in on Sunday. The oath-taking ceremony was held at 12pm at the Speaker’s Chamber of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, where Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad administered the oath. Later, the two MPs signed the oath register and exchanged greetings with the Speaker. Prime Minister and Leader of the House Tarique Rahman was present at the oath-taking ceremony.
