Cumilla University went on the winter vacation on Sunday.
Academic activities at the university remained closed till December 26, according the academic calendar.
Classes and exams will resume on December 29 as December 27 and 28 are weekly holidays.
However, resident students have not been asked to vacate their dormitories.
