A mobile court on Sunday fined owners of three under-construction buildings Tk 11,000 as larvae of Aedes mosquito was found on their premises in Banani area of the city under the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).
The mobile court led by executive magistrate Roslina Parvin conducted drives in 14 under-construction buildings and found larvae of Aedes mosquito in three buildings, said a press release.
Later, the house owners were fined Tk 11,000.
It also issued warnings to some house owners as they failed to cooperate with the city corporation authorities in controlling Aedes mosquitoes.
The mobile court drives that started from May 10 have so far realised Tk 4,16,300 in fines , said the press release.
