Panchagarh district has been experiencing the lowest temperature for the last three day until Tuesday.
Earlier, the minimum temperature 7.5 °C and 7. 0° C was recorded at Tetulia (Panchagarh) on Monday and Sunday respectively.

Tetulia, the last border town in Bangladesh’s north, is no stranger to extreme cold.
On January 8 last year, mercury fell to 2.6˚C in Tetulia, the lowest-ever recorded temperature in Bangladesh’s history.
Meanwhile, Dhaka’s minimum temperature was recorded 12.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, said Met office bulleting commencing around 9 am today.

Weather may remain dry over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur at places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning .

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Gopalgonj, Cumilla, Tetulia, Rajarhat, Chuadanga and it may continue.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
