He surrendered to district magistrate Kawsar Alam at noon. The court did not grant his bail permission and he was sent to jail, confirmed police sub-inspector Ajmal.
On 12 Novenber 2013, Sultan Shawkat Bhramar stated under section 164 that Twaki murder was led by Ajmeri Osman. But same year on 28 November, he applied to the court to withdraw his statement.

On his bail from Narayanganj district jail on 20 March 2014, Bhramar left the country.
In his application to the court, Rabbi Rafiur, Twaki’s father, wrote the Twaki murder case is one of the most sensational cases in the country.
On 6 March 2013, Twaki was abducted on his way to a library, in Narayanganj’s old court area. On 8 March he was found dead in a pond near Sitalakkha river gate-5.

High court gave RAB-11 the order for investigation of the case, on 3rd July of that year.
On 5 March 2014, RAB published the charge sheet carrying the names of 11 convicts.
According to the statement given by Sultan Shawkat Bhramar, all the accused are connected but they were not arrested.

Earlier, the investigation report was submitted twice although the investigating agency did not grant it.
Pradeep Ghosh Babu, counsel for the plaintiff in the case, said 6 suspects in the case were fugitives. Five were arrested. Among them were two accused Yusuf Hossain Liton and Sultan Shawkat Bhramar, who gave confessional statements under section 164.
