Kalachandpur Government High School emerged boys' champions while Bangladesh International School clinched girls champions in the Dhaka Metropolis School Volleyball (Boy & Girls) Competition that concluded on Sunday (Oct 15) at the Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium in the capital.

Kalachandpur Government High School clinched the boys title beating Nirjhor Cantonment Public School by 2-1 sets while Bangladesh International School & College emerged girls champions beating Mohammadpur Preparatory School & College (English) by straight 2-0 sets in their respective finals.

DPSSTS School finished 3rd in the boys group while Green Heralds School became 3rd in the girls group.

Director (Sports) of National Sports Council SM Shah Habibur Rahman Hakim was the chief guest and distributed the prizes among the winners.

General Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Ashiqur Rahman Miku was also present, among others, on the occasion.

Forty five boys and girls school teams participated in the competition.
