A ninth-grader was killed in a clash involving an autorickshaw and a motorcycle at Jatrabari in the capital.
The deceased was identified as Md Shaon Hossain, 17, a student of Manik Nagar Model High School.
SI Mostafizur Rahman of Jatrabari police station said the accident occurred around 3:30 pm in Dharmik Para area.
According to locals, Shaon fell off the motorcycle and was seriously injured. Locals rescued and rushed him to Famous hospital in that area.
He was later transferred to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
