Prominent freedom fighter Abul Hossain and eminent labour leader Md Golam Faruk have been re-elected President and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Auto-Rickshaw Auto-Tempo Transport Workers Federation (BAATWF).
President of sub-committee of the organisation Senior lawyer Advocate Zobaida Parveen announced the election result where a 35-member new committee for 2023-26 period was formed.
Election result of central committee was announced at a function at Bangladesh Shishu Kalan Parishad VIP Hall on Friday, said a press release of the BAATWF.
Sub-committee members Md Alamgir Ratan and Shafiqul Islam were present on the occasion.
Elected members of the committee from different districts were present at the function.
