BSCIC urged to take leading role towards realising Vision 2041


Industries Secretary KM Ali Azam urged the officials and staff of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) to play a vital role in achieving the goal of building an industrialised Bangladesh free of hunger and poverty by 2041, as announced by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“Alongside acquiring skills in technology, the officials of BSCIC must be affluent in latest knowledge,” he said while inaugurating the ‘E-Filing training course’ on Monday.

He also strengthened the need for internal training on ICT affairs for this.

Recalling the day of August 15, 1975 when the Father of the Nation Bangabndhu along with his family were assassinated, Ali Azam also urged all to work with unity for building an industrialised Bangladesh after transforming the mourning of August into strength.

When speaking, BSCIC Chairman Mohammad Mushtaq Hasan said 90 percent paperwork of the BSCIC main office is being done through E-Filing while the rest will be brought under the system after training.

Besides, it will also help to provide services with efficiency and speed, he hoped.
