The election to the executive committee of Islamic University Teachers’ Association (IUTA) will be held on the campus in Kushtia on December 15.

A total of 46 candidates would contest for 15 posts from both Awami League backed teacher alliance and Bangladesh Nationalist Party-Jamaat backed teacher alliance, sources at IUTA said on Wednesday.

The voting will be held at room no: 427 of Arts Faculty building of the university from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

A total of four panels, two from AL backed teachers’ panel and another two from BNP-Jamaat panel, would contest in the election.
