Home Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Monday instructed the law enforcement agencies to adopt a stricter stance against crimes and disturbing activities. No one will be spared,” he said while talking to reporters after an early morning visit to four police stations in Dhaka—Tejgaon, Dhanmondi, Shahbagh, and New Market police stations. "The law will take its course against those engaging in organised mob activities, theft, robbery, extortion, rape, and violence against women and children," he warned.
