Youth dies with fever, respiratory problems at Chandpur hospital
A young man who had been suffering from fever and respiratory problems died at the isolation unit of Chandpur General Hospital on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sohagh, 33, of Harina area in Sadar upazila.
Sohagh died around 7:55am, said Dr Sujauddoula Rubel, resident medical officer (RMO) of the hospital.
They have collected the sample of the deceased for coronavirus test, he added.
Chandpur Civil Surgeon Dr Md Shakhawat Hossain said Sohagh had been suffering from fever and respiratory problems for the last several days.
Family members took him to the hospital around 3:30am as his condition deteriorated, he said.
