Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Sunday nominated a five-member panel of chairmen for the Special Session, the 10th session of the 11th parliament.

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on carrying all kinds of firearms, explosives and other harmful objects around the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban from Saturday midnight ahead of the special session of the 11th parliament. 

President Mohammad Abdul Hamid has summoned a special session of parliament at 11 am on Sunday (March 22) marking the ‘Mujib Borsho’, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centernary.
