The 12th edition of the Dhaka University National Model United Nations (DUNMUN-2025), the largest and most prestigious Model United Nations conference in South East Asia is set to commence on May 29, under the organization of the Dhaka University Model United Nations Association (DUMUNA). In a press conference held today at DUJA, the organizers said that the four-day conference will take place at the Dhaka University’s historic Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building. This conference aims to bring together over 500 young diplomats and high-profile guests from across the country and abroad.  Dhaka University hosts three-day Winter Book Fair at TSC Under the theme “The Rule of Law Amidst Global Paradigm Shifts: Ensuring Justice, Equality, and Accountability,” DUNMUN 2025 seeks to foster critical discussions on global stability, justice, and governance. The conference will host 11 dynamic committees, providing a platform for aspiring diplomats and policymakers to engage in rigorous debate and propose innovative solutions to contemporary international issues.  3-day non-fiction book fair begins at Dhaka University “With a legacy of academic excellence and diplomatic engagement, DUNMUN 2025 promises an intellectually enriching experience, offering participants opportunities for meaningful dialogue, negotiation, and collaboration,” said Nawshin Fatmi, the Secretary General of DUNMUN 2025.

A segment of examinees who sat for the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) competitive exam staged a sit-in protest on Sunday, demanding re-evaluation of the written result as it allegedly includes some technical difficulties and OMR overlapping issues.
