The Anti Terrorism Unit (ATU) unit of police has arrested a member of the banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team from Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari. Md Raihan Ali, 19, was arrested from Khutamara Thursday, ATU Superintendent of Police Mohammad Aslam Khan said. Police also seized a smartphone and two sim cards from him. Raihan and his associates were seeking to create an Islamic caliphate in the country through online activities, Aslam said. "A case has been filed against him with Jaldhaka police."
