Key Features of Tecno Pro Plus
Design
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus has introduced a design that is quite remarkable, especially the rear camera panel, a giant round glass chamber housing four lenses. The front side doesn’t bring anything new. Measuring 164.7 mm by 75 mm by 7.6 mm in dimension and weighing 179g, the phone fits comfortably in hand and doesn’t feel unreasonably heavy.
It uses a premium vegan leather back, which is the standout feature, providing a smooth and luxurious feel. The circular camera module adds to its aesthetic appeal with a sophisticated metallic finish. Its color resembles a soft sunset, emitting a gentle orange hue with hints of blue from the sides. The texture resembles fine knitted cloth, reducing glare for a more comfortable viewing experience.

With options for various colors - Temporal Orbits, Lunar Frost, Radiant Starstream, Magic Skin 2.0 Green, users can personalize their style. The shiny and frosted frame adds a touch of elegance, while neatly lined buttons ensure easy access. It features a dual speaker design for immersive audio experiences, although it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Display
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus sports a curved AMOLED display, a standard pick for streaming videos and playing high-quality mobile games. The spacious 6.78-inch screen and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz ensure enough room for smooth visuals and responsiveness. Furthermore, Spark 20 Pro Plus features 1080 by 2436 pixels of resolution and 393 ppi density.
Users may opt for the default 'auto-switch refresh rate' setting for optimal performance, though some demanding games may feel better at 60Hz. It's recommended to disable adaptive brightness for more accurate control over brightness settings, ensuring comfortable viewing in various environments. Despite a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, it maintains vivid and bright colors with excellent viewing angles.

The adaptive refresh strategy further enhances the viewing experience while conserving battery life. The curved AMOLED screen offers a comfortable grip, making it a top choice for those seeking superior display quality. Conversely, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro, while lacking the curved AMOLED display, still offers daily-use convenience with its straight LCD screen.
Cameras
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro Plus features a 108 MP primary camera alongside two auxiliary lenses. Daytime photography yields sharp images, with color distributed in balance, clearly capturing scenery and subjects. The Super Night Mode enhances image quality in low light conditions by effectively managing highlights and details. Additionally, a 0.08 macro camera adds versatility, enabling users to explore close-up photography.
The front-facing 32MP selfie camera performs exceptionally well, especially with the Dual-LED flash, illuminating the subject and background for striking selfies.

Tecno Spark 20 Review: Budget-friendly phone with a smart look
Tecno Mobile, a Chinese company based at Shenzhen, was established in 2006, as a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings. In the recent years, this brand acquired huge reputation for producing value-for-money smartphones. Spak is the budget-friendly line up of Tecno Mobile. Recently, the brand has launched Tecno Spark 20, an affordable phone with an iPhone-inspired design. This device is now available in Bangladesh. Let’s explore its features in details.
Features and Specifications of Tecno Spark 20
Design
Tecno Spark 20 phone comes with 163.7 mm by 75.6 mm by 8.5 mm dimention. It boasts a larger camera island with three circled rings for the dual cameras and a quad flashlight. The glossy camera island may attract dust, contrasting with the fingerprint-resistant plastic matte finish.
The plastic frame houses a swift side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and while lacking an official IP rating, a rubber ring suggests water resistance to some extent. Dual speakers deliver a surprisingly balanced sound, complemented by a USB C port for charging and a microphone for calls. The comfortably held phone exhibits flat surface, and robust build quality without any creaks or flexing.

The dynamic port, reminiscent of the iPhone's dynamic island, introduces a touch of sophistication, though its functionality is somewhat constrained.
The vibrant color options, like Neon Gold, Gravity Black, Cyber White, and Magic Skin 2.0 (Blue), Spark 20 presents an eye-catching play of light.
Display
The Tecno Spark 20 sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD, featuring a commendable 90Hz refresh rate alongside a 720 by 1612 pixels resolution. The enhanced scrolling experience due to the high refresh rate is more perceptible. While the display is satisfactory for its price point, a higher 1080p resolution would have been preferable.
Its punch hole disrupts the display. Besides, it has noticeable bezels, especially the prominent chin at the bottom. However, these limitations are often found in the similarly priced devices.

It’s display customization options offer flexibility, allowing users to fine-tune colors. With a peak brightness of 500 nits under adaptive settings, the screen remains visible outdoors. The ability to stream YouTube videos at 2K resolution produces vibrant and sharp visuals. While responsive to touch and conducive to enjoyable gaming, a desire for a higher resolution lingers, leaving the overall display experience commendable for its budget-friendly nature.
Performance and Software
The Tecno Spark 20 runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 12nm, which, despite being an older chipset, performs well. The phone is smooth with no noticeable lag when using it, and apps open quickly.
Games also run fine, except for heavy ones. It handles everyday tasks like calls, texts, and content consumption without a hitch. Multitasking is decent, except for heavy games. Compared to the Spark 10 with the MediaTek Helio G37, there's an improvement in performance.

TECNO CAMON 20 Review: Is it worth buying?
TECNO Mobile's dedication to delivering cost-effective devices while upholding impeccable quality has made them a favored choice among consumers. TECNO’s latest innovation Camon 20 has made its debut in Bangladesh recently. This smartphone boasts remarkable MediaTek chipsets and RGBW camera sensors. Let's take a look into the prime features, design, price, pros and cons of the TECNO Camon 20 phone.
Key features of the TECNO CAMON 20
Design
The Tecno Camon 20 showcases a distinct design that aligns with contemporary Android smartphones. Marketed as a puzzle deconstruction design, the handset draws inspiration from postmodern architecture. It features a textured leather back adorned with a unique pattern and a noticeable pentagon-shaped camera module. Despite the smartphone's plastic frame, this design choice effectively conceals fingerprints and smudges while exuding a luxurious aesthetic.
The device boasts flat edges rather than curved ones, enhancing comfort and grip during usage. You'll find the volume rocker and power button on the phone's right spine, while the bottom edge houses a USB Type-C port for charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a speaker grille. Additionally, another speaker is located on the top edge, providing stereo sound output. Display

This display offers a vivid viewing experience, perfect for activities like video watching, social media browsing, and gaming. With an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 87.0%, the display covers almost the entire front of the phone, leaving only a small punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
The Camon 20's 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display delivers vibrant and immersive visuals. It incorporates a 100% wide P3 Dot-in display, along with DC Dimming and 1920Hz PWM Dimming, providing users with a flicker-free viewing experience. Tecno Camon 20 Pro Review: Can it fulfill the users’ expectations?
Tecno Smartphones has long been an outlier in the smartphone industry for its interesting approach to the market. While most brands focus on a mix of cost-cutting and functionality in their budget-friendly devices, Tecno Mobile aims to integrate an all-around premium experience under affordable price-ranges. In this legacy, Tecno has launched the Camon 20 Pro in Bangladesh recently. The device being a direct successor to the Camon 19 Pro brings a host of new features. Let’s find out the main features, pros, cons and price of Tecno Camon 20 Pro.
Key Specifications of Tecno Camon 20 Pro
Design and Build Quality
There has been a complete design overhaul of the Camon 20 Pro from its predecessor. While the 19 Pro had a much more toned-down traditional look, the 20 Pro feels like something straight out of Sci-Fi.
The camera module on the back is housed on a pentagonal base which is flush with the back panel. But that’s not all as the entire back panel now has a refractive geometric pattern which gives the device a contemporary abstract art-like look. It’s pretty obvious that Tecno meant this device to be used with the included clear case only.
Moving over to build quality, the device is an all-plastic build with a glass front. The display glass isn’t rated but it is supposed to be some older Gorilla Glass tech. The device has a 163.4 x 76.7 x 8.2 mm dimension which brings the weight to about 182 gm. It feels great in hand due to its uniform weight distribution and boxy design.

The volume rocker along with the power button is situated on the right of the device. The left side houses the micro SDXC and sim slot with the secondary mic on top. The primary speaker, Type C port, and the precious headphone jack are placed at the bottom. This year, the naming of the colorways has also been updated with Predawn Black and Serenity Blue.
Overall, the design took a long leap with the 20 Pro while the build quality remains satisfactory just like the 19 Pro.
The Display
For a lower mid-range device, the display spec of the Camon 20 Pro is quite surprising. Tecno managed to integrate the uniform bezel design for the Camon 20 Pro which until very recently was only seen on iPhones and high-end Androids.
The display itself is a 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It’s a big jump considering the 19 Pro came with an IPS LCD panel. The uniform bezel design means the device now has an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio which is one of the highest in the Camon lineup.
Read more: vivo Y36 Review: Does Price Meet Performance?
The 1080P panel has a 395 ppi density making it a sharp and crisp display for all kinds of viewing situations. The stacked spec of the display doesn’t really translate much beyond paper. However, the viewing angles and everything are satisfactory. It's just that the colors on the display look a bit washed out and pale for an AMOLED panel. Users can tweak the display setting to opt for a warmer contrast. But out of the box, the experience might be lacking a bit.
The Camera
The Camon 20 Pro features a triple camera module set on two large circular housings. The top one houses the main 64 MP camera while the bottom one houses the 2 MP depth and a QVGA sensor. There is also the trademark ring LED flashlight right beside the sensors.
In essence, the main camera does all of the work as the depth and QVGA are good as nothing. In daylight, the pictures come out great with excellent details and good dynamic range occasionally. Users might notice exposure issues as the camera tries to process too much light in extremely bright outdoor shots. The issue is also persistent indoors as it overcompensates for low lights in this case.
The videography is rated at 1080P at 30fps but without any kind of stabilization support, it really isn’t worth shooting unless you have an external gimbal.

The front camera is a 32 MP shooter which does a decent job at capturing selfies. Overall, the camera experience on the Camon 20 Pro is average as there are better camera phones at this budget point.
Tecno Spark 10 Pro Review: Can it outdo the ancestors?
Tecno unveiled a new phone Spark 10 Pro at Mobile World Congress (MWC) on 6th March. It's worth noting that the ancestor Spark 9 Pro received a lot of praise for its impressive image quality of selfies, considering its price. Does the latest version Spark 10 Pro offer better features? Let’s find out the key specs, pros, cons, and price of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro.
Key Features of Tecno Spark 10 Pro
Design
The design of the Spark 10 Pro has some similarities to its predecessor, but with a few noticeable changes.
One of the most significant changes is the camera module, which now features three circles instead of two. However, upon closer inspection, the number of lenses has been reduced by one. The circle on the right side of the module is actually a flash, while the small hole above it serves only as decoration. Although there is now one less lens, the main camera has been improved, making it a worthwhile tradeoff.
Its dimensions are 168.4 x 76.2 x 8.4 mm. Weighing 208g it seems a bit heavy. Its construction features a Glass built front and back panel along with a plastic frame.

The back panel of the Spark 10 Pro is made up of both glossy and frosted areas, but the glossy section has been reduced to just the lens module. Additionally, the back panel has been upgraded with a new material called Starry glass, which is highly scratch-resistant and feels very smooth to the touch. Unfortunately, only two-color options are available this time around, with green and blue not making an appearance.
Another notable feature of the Spark 10 Pro is the inclusion of a headphone jack, which can be used in conjunction with the earphones that come in the box. Additionally, the SIM card slot can accommodate both a TF card and dual SIM cards, and the phone boasts a waterproof design.
While some may prefer the design of the Spark 9 Pro, personal taste varies, and the Spark 10 Pro has done an admirable job at this price point.

Display
The display of Spark 10 Pro has been upgraded, and it's immediately noticeable as soon as you light up the screen. This time around, the phone features a punch-hole display, which has been a mainstream trend for some time now. However, it's worth noting that many phones within the same price range still use the water drop display, making the punch-hole display an upgrade.
Its 6.8 inches IPS LCD display offers ~85.6% screen-to-body ratio. It sports resolutions of 1080 by 2460 pixels and around 395 PPI density.
Additionally, the screen of the Spark 10 Pro now supports higher refresh rates, with a 90Hz refresh rate that's more than enough for most everyday applications. While it's not the best display on the market, it's clear that the Spark 10 Pro is putting in its best effort to offer users an improved viewing experience. Overall, these upgrades to the display add to the device's value and make it a worthy consideration for anyone in the market for a new phone.

Performance and Software
Tecno Spark 10 Pro boasts a MediaTek Helio G88 12 nm processor, which may sound like a significant upgrade from the G85 found in the 9 Pro. The processor has been combined with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It runs on HIOS 12.6 on top of Android 13.
However, in terms of performance, the difference is relatively negligible. Although the G88 handles PUBG Mobile with ease, maintaining stable HD graphics at 30fps, its capabilities when it comes to more demanding games like Genshin Impact are not as impressive. In testing, it is found that while the device can handle Commission Quests at the lowest graphics settings, the overall game experience is not ideal, and we noticed a 5% power consumption after just 10 minutes of play.
That said, while the Spark 10 Pro may not be the ideal phone for serious gamers, it's still a great option for those who prefer more relaxed games. If you're someone who enjoys casual mobile games or only plays games occasionally, then the Spark 10 Pro may be the perfect entry-level phone for you.

Camera
Tecno Spark 10 Pro has three lenses, with the main lens having a 50-megapixel sensor, an aperture of f/1.6, a wide-angle field of view, and PDAF (phase detection autofocus) capability. The other two lenses' specifications are unspecified.
The triple-camera setup works by using different lenses to capture images in different ways. The main 50 MP (f/1.6) camera is used for capturing detailed, high-resolution photos with a wide field of view. The other lenses may have different focal lengths or features, such as a telephoto lens for zooming in on distant objects, or a wide-angle lens for capturing more of a scene in a single shot.
The PDAF capability allows the camera to quickly and accurately focus on subjects, even in low light conditions, by using a sensor to detect the phase difference between two points of incoming light. This helps ensure that your photos are sharp and in focus.

A 32 MP (megapixel) selfie camera with a wide-angle lens and dual-LED flash is considered to be a high-end camera for taking selfies. The high megapixel count means that the camera is capable of capturing a large amount of detail in your photos, which is particularly useful for capturing facial features.
When it comes to video recording, the 1080p@30fps capability means that you can record high-quality videos at 30 frames per second, which is the standard for most online video content. This can be useful for recording vlogs, video chats, or simply capturing special moments of high quality.
Battery and Charger
The Tecno Spark 10 Pro's 5000 mAh Li-Po battery is quite large and should provide a good amount of battery life on a single charge, depending on usage. With moderate usage, the phone should be able to last through a full day without needing to be charged.

The 18W wired charging setup is decent, but not particularly fast compared to some other phones on the market. It should take around 2-2.5 hours to fully charge the battery from empty. However, the non-removable nature of the battery may be a concern for some users, as it means that it cannot be easily replaced if it starts to degrade over time.
Price of Tecno SPARK 10 Pro in Bangladesh
Techno Spark is available in Bangladesh unofficially. The price of the phone starts at BDT 15,690 with a 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM combination. However, the official price of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro in Bangladesh may vary.
Bottom Line
The Spark 10 Pro has already caught the attention of users as it boasts a unique feature - a focus on selfies. In a market where most entry-level smartphones compromise on camera quality, it's refreshing to see a phone that prioritizes the needs of selfie enthusiasts. Even in 2023, such phones are still rare.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro is priced reasonably, making it an affordable option for those who don't want to break the bank for a phone. Hardware and Software
The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimesnity 9000 processor with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In addition, the smartphone supports 5GB of virtual RAM. Throughout our first testing, the smartphone operated well. On the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro, gaming and multitasking were likewise seamless.
In addition to a strong chipset, the Tecno Phantom X2 has a rather big battery. The company's flagship smartphone has a 5,160 mAh battery with 45W rapid charging capabilities. The manufacturer says that the smartphone can be charged to 50 percent in only 20 minutes. However, we have yet to verify this allegation. The dual-SIM smartphone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual speakers for enhanced audio output.
Regarding software, the Phantom X2 Pro runs the Android 12 operating system on top of the company's HiOS 12 layer. The smartphone has a streamlined user interface, however, there are several bloatware programs, some of which cannot be removed.
Also, there is no app drawer, thus all downloaded applications would seem crowded on the home screen. The smartphone is equipped with all the native Android 12 capabilities, which will be covered in the in-depth review when the smartphone launches in India.

The Tecno Pova 4 Pro phone has a dual camera setup, with the main camera being 50 megapixels AI camera. Another contains F2.0 FF with flash. However, the good thing about dual cameras is that they also contain dual flash. A dual flash dual camera with a 50-megapixel artificial intelligence camera can give you more shooting opportunities. It can help you capture more memories and enjoy better photos and videos.
In addition to that, you will get an 8MP selfie camera with one flash. One of the benefits of this front-facing camera with flash is that you can take pictures and videos with much more clarity than you could do without flash. Additionally, it is great for taking pictures in low-light conditions as well.

Tecno Pova 4 Review: Gaming on a Budget
Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Tecno Mobile is situated in Shenzhen. It was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of Transsion holdings. Tecno Mobile has created a reputation in the mid-range smartphone market over the last decade. Holding this legacy, the company recently launched its mid-range gaming smartphone, Tecno Pova 4. The phone was officially launched in Bangladesh on 6th October 2022. Let’s take a look at the key specs, pros, and cons of Tecno Pova 4.
Key Specifications of Tecno Pova 4
Design and Build Quality
The design of the Pova 4 is probably the most striking and eye-catching feature of the device. Even though the device is made from plastic, there’s a distinctly geometric design on the back. The brushed and polished back makes for an impressive aesthetic with the camera housing having the most unconventional and attractive design.
The two vertical camera lenses on the back side reminisce iPhone 12. But that’s a design choice we’ve seen increasingly on the budget to mid-range devices and the Pova 4 honestly pulls it off.

Its dimensions are 170.59 mm high, 77.52mm wide, and 8.7mm thick. The build quality of the device is passable. It’s nothing sturdy and the device feels light in the hand because of the plastic build. The ports and button choices are the same as usual.
The fingerprint sensor is housed on the power button as usual. The existing sim tray also houses expandable storage. Type-C port, single loudspeaker, and 3.5 mm headphone jack are all located on the bottom of the device.
On the whole, the Pova 4 brings a breath of fresh air to stagnating design choices. But it's only visible if you use a clear case or no case at all. Techno Pove 4 is available in two colours: Uranolith Grey and Fluorite Blue.

Display
The 6.82" HD+ display of the Pova 4 is an LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It is quite common that in budget devices the cost-saving measure is applied on either display or processor. Since Tecno Mobile is marketing the Pova 4 as a budget gaming device, the obvious choice of LCD over AMOLED is understandable.
But what doesn’t make sense is the resolution. The Pova 4 has a 720P resolution which is good enough for only 257 PPI. The low resolution combined with LCD technology makes for a lackluster experience overall.
Considering devices like Redmi Note 11 SE or POCO F1 priced in a similar bracket comes with FHD+ AMOLED panels. Therefore, the manufacturer's choice of a 720P panel in Pova 4 isn’t really justifiable.

The display won’t blow you away as a deeper look easily allows you to see the individual pixel. But for day-to-day usage, the panel holds up pretty well. And it's true for outdoor experience as well. But will it be a multimedia consumption device? Probably not.
Camera
One of the prime complaints with Tecno phones is their average cameras. With the prime focus on gaming, it was expected that photography would take a backseat on the Pova 4. And it did.
The dual camera on the back features a 50 MP main sensor along with a secondary sensor which is unrated. The camera work is mainly done by the main sensor here.

Like the ancestor Pova 3, Tecno Mobile doesn’t bring any hardware improvement in the camera segment of Pova 4.
The main camera has PDAF which is its only notable feature. Tecno claims that they are using AI for the main camera pictures which can render better post-processing.
The pictures from the main camera came out decent in bright outdoor light. The camera has a dedicated HDR mode which also enhances the picture quality in both outdoor and indoor lighting.

The main camera can shoot videos up to 1440P at 30 fps which is a welcome addition.
On the front users will get a generic 8 MP camera whose capabilities are limited to 1080P.
Overall, the camera performance pales in comparison to some of its competitors. The quality of images could’ve definitely been better on the Pova 4.
Processor and Performance
Tecno Pova 4 is powered by a MediaTek MT8781 Helio G99 processor based on the 6 Nm architecture. G99 is a well-capable processor in the budget segment. It’s an octa-core one with 2 2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 and 6 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 chips. The processor has been tweaked a bit to clock higher performance than usual.

The G99 is complemented by the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. This device runs on Android 12 OS. Pova 4 sports 8GB RAM combined with 128GB ROM.
Speaking of performance, the G99 absolutely breezes past everything. It perfectly handles whatever is thrown at it without a hiccup. Leading gaming titles like Asphalt 9, COD or PUBG easily runs at max settings which were otherwise not possible before.
Even though it’s a capable processor, it does tend to heat up the device quite easily. A mere 30 minutes of gaming at the highest setting will cause the device to really heat up and thermal throttle.

Still, the performance combined with a 90 Hz smooth refresh rate makes for an impressive UI experience.
Battery and Charge Time
The battery on the Tecno Pova 4 is 6000 mAh. The device also supports fast charging up to 18W. Given the efficient chip and the HD display, users will get an amazing battery life on the device. However, with just 18 W of fast charging, the charge will be much higher, unfortunately.
Other Features
Tecno Pova 4 bears a bunch of handy sensors: G-Sensor, Electronic compass, NFC, Ambient Light Distance sensor, Gyroscope, and Fingerprint Sensor.

Official Price of Tecno Pova 4 in Bangladesh
The price of the Tecno Pova 4 is 21,990 BDT for the 8/128 GB model. The 8/128 GB version of the device is the only available model in Bangladesh. The price is subject to change.
Final Words
The Tecno Mobile company has slowly evolved into a market dominator in Africa and South Asia. Tecno Phones have gained a reputation in Bangladesh too.

Like its predecessor, the Pova 4, the latest addition to the Pova lineup, brings high performance at an affordable entry-level budget price. But it comes at some cut corners.
The display and the camera are probably the main downsides of the Pova 4. These segments are something that Tecno Mobile needs to work its way through. Other than that, the device brings an innovative design, a capable processor, and an amazing battery life.
So, who is this for actually? Anyone looking for a solid daily driver or an entry-level gaming smartphone can easily consider the Tecno Pova 4.

Tecno Spark 9T Review: Technical Details and Key Specifications
As a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, Tecno emerged as a smartphone and feature phone brand back in 2006. The company initially focused its market capitalization in the African region and slowly moved to the south Asian market. With over one and a half decades in the android industry, the company has steadily cemented its foothold as an affordable alternative. Mounting on that idea, the company is here with its latest offering, the Tecno Spark 9T, released globally on 28th July 2022. Let's have a detailed look.
Key Specifications of Tecno Spark 9T
Design and Build Quality
There is something about affordable android smartphones mimicking the look of the iPhone design. And the 9T is not immune to that. Whether it’s a good or a bad thing depends on the user. For the most part, the 9T resembles the iPhone 11 with a similar design and camera housing.
The phone is plastic built all around with an unrated glass front. The flat edges aren’t protruding which makes for a great hand feel while using. The power button and the volume buttons are placed as usual just like the previous generation. This time, the power button doubles as the fingerprint sensor.
Read Xiaomi POCO F4 Review: Get Optimized Gaming Experience
The phone itself is a dual sim one with a dedicated micro SDXC. The headphone jack stays in on the 9T which is surprisingly good news for many. As things stand, the headphone jack will stay around a bit longer in the budget category.
Overall, the build quality of the Spark 9T is satisfactory for the price.
The Display
The 9T of the Spark 9T might be a subtle nod to the fact that the device sports a 90 Hz refresh rate panel. Yes, even at an ultra-budget range, Tecno is offering a high refresh rate for a smoother user experience. However, that’s the only highlight and probably the saving grace for the display.

The panel is a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. It can churn out up to 266 ppi. LCD panels are still the go-to choice for budget devices. While it's not comparable to AMOLED or OLED by any means, it still gets the job done somewhat.
If you look closely, you will be able to make out the individual pixels, though that was given with a 720P panel. The display looks relatively bright with good color reproduction and outdoor visibility.
However, it doesn’t have a good viewing angle. looking from the side will either create a distorting color shift or would go black. The cost-cutting on the display is very much evident with the 9T.

The Camera
Traditionally, budget smartphones are all about camera gimmicks. We see 3 or even 4 sensors which don’t actually do much to add value other than being a marketing tool.
Thankfully, the Spark 9T doesn’t take that route. There are 2 sensors vertically aligned on the back of the device. The main sensor is a 13 MP wide-angle shooter and the secondary one is a 2 MP depth sensor.
The pictures from the main camera look sharp and decent. The images are true to real life but the dynamic range is a hit or miss sometimes. The camera doesn’t really live up in dark environments. Images have a noticeable amount of grain and noise in them.

However, Tecno isn’t really selling the device for its back camera, but rather it's front. There is a 32 MP front-facing camera which performs significantly better than the back one. Why this weird choice you may ask? We believe it’s to facilitate content creators who make videos and reels. It can be a great starting point considering the price.
There isn’t much to talk about the videography other than it is rated at 1080P at 30 fps. The back doesn’t have any added stabilization other than the standard autofocus.
Processor and Performance
The Tecno Spark 9T uses Mediatek MT6765V/CB Helio G37 processor built on the 12 Nm architecture. At this price, we expected at least the G35 which is a bit more efficient in its class. The G37 is completely an entry-level processor with low performance.

The octa-core processor has a chip design of 4 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and 4 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 which should tell much about the performance.
In the test, the phone can handle day-to-day tasks very well. be it web browsing, media consumption, or light 2D gaming, the device felt fluid and smooth. The smoothness came in part from the 90 Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to graphics-intensive 3D gaming, the phone can't really keep up. You can play titles like PUBG and COD at very low settings. Even then the device heats up and shows frame drops every now and then. Overall, the experience isn’t very good.

The Spark 9T comes with Android 12 out of the box with HIOS 8.6. HIOS is still a very heavy skin on top of stock android. However, Tecno has significantly reduced bloatware this time around.
Battery and Charge Time
The Tecno Spark 9T boasts a standard 5000 mAh battery. Now 5000 mAh is a standard for entry-level to mid-range device phones so the choice isn’t surprising. However, there isn’t any fast charger with the device. And that might significantly prolong the charging time. The device can run for around 8 to 10 hours of continuous usage with a full charge.
Price of Tecno Spark 9T
Tecno Spark 9T hasn’t officially launched in Bangladesh yet. The device is available on a pre-order basis. The price for the single launch variant 4/128 GB is 14,990 BDT with some cool perks for the pre-bookers.

Final Words
The Tecno Spark 9T brings a few improvements from its previous generation while also taking a step back in some. With global stagflation looming around the corner, it's commendable on Tecno’s part to keep the price under the affordable limit.
The camera is still a weak point for the brand and it shows in the 9T. Then comes the performance and the display which is also lackluster but passable in its price range. The build quality is probably the only thing which can't be complained about. So, if you’re looking for a daily driver for light tasking, the Tecno Spark 9T could very well be a good choice.
