BCL Football: Arambagh KS beat BFF Elite Academy by 2-0 goals
Arambagh Krira Sangha emerged as the close title contender of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football beating BFF Elite Football Academy by 2-0 goals at the Fortis FC ground in Jalshiri here on Sunday afternoon.
After the day’s match, both the PWD SC and Arambagh KS have secured 28 points each playing 12 and 13 matches respectively, but PWD SC topped list by virtue of better goal differences with an advantage of playing one match less than Arambagh KS.
BFF Elite Academy remained at the 8th slot with 12 points from 12 matches.
In the day’s match, Mohammad Nazimuddin scored first for Arambagh KS in the 25th minute (1-0) while Mohammad Arafat Mia assured the Arambagh victory scoring the 2nd goal in the 42nd minute (2-0).
The day’ s another league match between BRTC SC and Uttar Baridhara Club ended in a goalless at the practice ground of Bashundhara Kings Arena here.

The day’s other league match between Wari Club and Farashganj SC also ended in a goalless draw at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur on Sunday.
After the day’s matches, Uttar Baridhara Club advanced to the 6th slot in the 10-team league securing 13 points, Farashganj SC went down to the 7th place also with 13 points while Wari Club and BRTC SC remained at the 9th slot and 10th place respectively collecting 11 points each.

BCL Football: Farashganj SC, Wari Club win
Farashganj Sporting Club and Wari Club won their respective matches in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football at two separate venues in the capital on Wednesday.
Farashganj SC beat BFF Elite Football Academy by 2-0 goals at the practice ground of the Bashundhara Kings Arena Wednesday afternoon.
After a barren first half, Mehadi Hasan put Farashganj SC ahead in the 58th minute (1-0) while Al Amin doubled the Farashganj margin in the 62nd minute (2-0).

In the day’s other match, Wari Club defeated Public Works Department (PWD) Sports Club also by 2-0 goals at the Fortis FC ground in Jalshiri here Wednesday afternoon.
Wari Club took lead in the very 9th minute of the match by a suicidal goal scored by Sumon Kumar while Shohag Barman confirmed the Wari victory scoring one more goal in the added time of the first half (45+2 minute).

BCL Football:Fakirerpool YC beat Gopalganj SC 3-2; Brothers Union beat Little Friends 2-1
Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club managed a 3-2 goal victory over Gopalganj Sporting Club in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football' 2022-23 at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur Saturday afternoon.
Forward Mohammad Musa struck twice in the 10th and 17th minutes (2-0) while Shanto netted the other goal for Youngmen's Club in the 28th minute (3-0) to dominate the first half comfortably.
Later, striker Iftesham Rahman Zidan netted two successive goals for Gopalganj SC in the 2nd half--first in the 66th minute from a penalty and other in the 76th minute (3-2), but failed to avoid defeat.

Rubel of Youngmen's Club received direct red card in the match.
In the day's other match, Brothers Union Club defeated Little Friends Club by 2-1 goal at the same venue.
After a barren first half, Ziku and Shohag scored one goal each for the Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union while Raihan netted the lone goal for Little Friends.

BPL, BCL Football matches postponed
All the matches of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 have been postponed.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) took the decision to postpone leagues Friday due to continuous rainfall in the capital and unplayable condition of the field. The BFF also considered the weather forecast while making the decision.

The fresh date and fixture for the remaining league matches will be announced later, said the federation.
Earlier, the BFF postponed the Women's Football League, and the 3rd Division Football League matches up to July 7 due to inclement weather and countrywide strict lockdown.

BCL Football: Agrani Bank beat Farashganj 2-1
Agrani Bank Sporting Club defeated Farashganj Sporting Club 2-1 in the second phase match of the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 Wednesday.
Titu opened the scoring for the winners in the ninth minute (1-0), while Farashganj's Rajon neutralised the threat in the 11th minute (1-1) at the Kamalapur Stadium.
However, Rahman scored the match-winner for Agrani Bank in the 64th minute (2-1).

In Wednesday's other match, Uttara Football Club outplayed Victoria SC 4-0 at the same venue.
Hasan struck twice in the 18th and 28th minutes (2-0); Sakib scored the third goal in the 73rd minute (3-0) while Masud sealed the fate of the match, scoring the fourth goal (4-0) in the stoppage time (90+2 minute).

On Tuesday, Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club earned a facile 4-1 victory over NoFel Sporting Club; Dhaka City FC drew 1-1 with Fortis Football Club at the same venue.

Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club earned a comfortable 4-0 victory over Victoria Sporting Club in the 2nd phase match of the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football' 2020-21 at the Kamalapur Stadium here on Tuesday.
Kankar struck twice in the 21st and 74th minutes while Amiruzzaman and Roman netted two more goals for the winners in the 57th and 58th minutes respectively.

Fortis Football Club earned a 2-1 victory against Dhaka Wanderers Club in the second phase of the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 at the Kamalapur Stadium Saturday.
Zillur put the winners ahead in the 19th minute (1-0) and Ekbal doubled the margin in the 63rd minute (2-0).

BCL Football: Both matches end in draws Friday
Both second phase matches of the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 ended in draws at the Kamalapur Stadium Friday.
In the day's first match, Dhaka City FC played out a 1-1 draw against Victoria Sporting Club.
Mehedi scored for Victoria in the 60th minute (1-0) while Sabbir levelled the margin for Dhaka City in the 75th minute (1-1).
The day's other match between Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club and Agrani Bank ended in a goalless draw at the same venue in the evening.

Fortis Football Club managed a 2-1 victory over NoFel Sporting Club in the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 at the Kamalapur Stadium Friday.
Zillur and Zakir scored for Fortis, one in each half, while Masum netted the only goal for NoFel in the second half.

BCL Football: Wari beat Dhaka 2-0; Pragati overpower Youngmen's 2-1
Wari Club registered a 2-0 victory over Dhaka City FC in the 12-team Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2020-21 at the Kamalapur Stadium Thursday.
Ali put Wari Club ahead in the 36th minute while Arafat scored the second goal for the winners in the 43rd minute.
In the day's other match, Kawran Bazar Pragati Sangha overpowered Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club 2-1 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the afternoon.

Kankar Biswas scored first for Fakirerpool in the ninth minute while Saddam levelled the margin for Pragati Sangha in the 54th minute.
