Fide Master Manon Reja Neer maintains his solo lead in the Walton International FIDE Rating Chess Tournament, securing a full six points after sixth-round matches held at Manha's Castle Hall-room in Green Road, Dhaka, on Monday.

A points table with a maximum of six points after the sixth or penultimate round of games of the WALTON International FIDE Rating Chess Tournament, sponsored by WALTON H-Tech Industries, PLC, associated by Bangladesh Chess Federation, and organised by Manha’s Castle, is now being held at Manha's Castle Hall-room, Label-5, R H Home Centre, 74 Green Road, Dhaka.

Three players—IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman, and FM Nayem Haque—followed the leader, collecting five points each.

Four players share the third position with 4.5 points each. They are Swarnavo Choudhury, CM Ikramul Haq Siam, CM Md Masum Hossain, and CM Md Abzid Rahman.

In the day's sixth-round matches, FM Manon Reja Neer beat FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin beat Md. Rabbi Salim, Swarnavo Choudhury drew with CM Md Masum Hossain, FM Syed Mahfuzur Rahman beat Abdul Momin, and CM Ikramul Haq.

Siam drew with CM Md. Abzid Rahman, FM Nayem Haque beat CM Sakline Mostafa Sajid; CM Md. Jamal Uddin drew with Saurabh Choubey of India; FM Sharif Hossain beat Sk. Rashedul Hasan, FM Mohammad Javed beat WCM Kazi Zarin Tasnim, CM Shafiq Ahmed beat Md Rabiul Hossain, Siam Chowdhury beat CM Md Sajidul Haque, WCM Ahmed Walijah beat Kazi Saiyf, Din Mohammad beat A B. Bappi, WCM Jannatul Ferdous beat Justin Matthias Baroi, and Shahidur Haque beat Md. Hasan.
