Earlier, two accused, Arafat Hossain and Saidur Rahman, were arrested after a case was lodged against 14 people on Friday night, following a complaint from the woman's father, said ABSM Doha, officer-in-charge of Koyra police station.
A longstanding dispute between the woman's father and their neighbour over a land dispute took a violent turn on July 11 when they clashed with each other.
The neighbour and his accomplices subsequently abducted Shamima and tied her to a tree and beat her up. Unable to bear the torture, the woman fell unconscious, the police said.
Police managed to rescue her after getting a call on emergency hotline number 999 but the accused could flee. The woman is currently being treated at Khulna Medical College and Hospital.
The other accused in the case are Abdul Khalek Gazi, Nur Alam, Shafiqul Islam Gazi, Rafiqul Islam Gazi, Liakat Gazi, Salauddin Gazi, Khokan Gazi, Nasrin Sultana, Sabina Akter and Abdul Maleque Gazi, police said.
