A case was filed against a young man for uploading ‘distorted images’ of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Road Transport Minister Obaidul Quader on Facebook.
Bhatiari Union Chairman Nazim Uddin filed the case against Saiful Islam, 32, son of Nezam Uddin of Lalgolkot upazila in Cumilla district, at Sitakunda Police Station under the Digital Security Act on Monday, said Sumon Banik, officer-in-charge of Sitakunda Police Station.
Police are trying to arrest the accused. He said legal action will be taken against Saiful after investigation.
